Best 3 Wheel Pushchairs
All-terrain stroller is light durable, sturdy and provides excellent maneuverability. Its compact one-hand fold means it's easy to move and is freestanding when folded. The cushioned seat reclines to a near-flat position, and there's a huge storage bin and canopy. Newborn suitability: Yes, with a separate carrycot (not suitable for overnight sleeping).
Air-filled tyres and good suspension will handle rough terrain well. You can also use it to jog. But, you should wait until the baby is at least 6 or 9 months old.
Ickle Bubba Air
This pushchair from Ickle Bubba is a great choice for parents who want an easy-to-use buggy that has enhanced features. The travel system comes with a lie flat carrycot for infants as well as an adjustable forward and rear facing seat for the pushchair.
The XL Air is a really impressive buggy and it's easy to see why it's received such high praise from customers. It's extremely light-weight with the chassis and wheels weigh only 6.5kg. It is also very easy to assemble. In fact, I was able to get the whole thing up and running in less than five minutes, which is pretty amazing given that it included a strapping of the fabric for the carrycot!
The seat is spacious and comfortable for Annie, who is just 12 months old. The recline lever was easy to operate. The basket is spacious with plenty of room and I am impressed that the handle bar has a pocket to keep your phone and keys safe.
The only issue is that the handlebar is quite low, which could be a problem for taller parents. But, it's covered in a gorgeous leather-like material that's soft and comfy and wipes down easily, so it's still easy to push with bags and children on your hands!
Hauck Pushchair Runner
The Runner is designed for active parents who want to get outside and explore. The large pneumatic wheels can be used on forest and field paths. The front wheel can be locked and can be rotated for added flexibility. The stroller also features a 5-point safety harness with a front bar that keeps your child safe on every trip. The parking brake will keep the stroller on its feet as you take a break. The seat can be adjusted to a laying position and the canopy can be opened to allow maximum air circulation on hot days. The handle can be height-adjusted by more than 30 centimeters to accommodate dad's or mom's heights.
Whether you're going for short jogs or a longer hike The Runner is ready to accompany you on all your adventures with a reclining, fully-flat seat and suspension air wheels that guarantee an unhurried ride. The front wheel is lockable for greater stability on narrow streets and overcrowded sidewalks, and the stroller folds up easily to fit into car boots and storage spaces.
The Runner 2 is a bit more difficult to navigate for some parents than its predecessor. Also, the locking system (requiring two buttons on either on either side of the handlebar) is less user-friendly. The handlebar is higher than the ones of competitors and therefore it may not work for smaller parents, but overall this is an extremely sturdy and flexible stroller that is worth a look for families with active children.
Red Kite Push Me moving
The Pace is a different great product from Red Kite, an affordable British brand which is known for its simple and well-designed parenting essentials. It's the most recent and most expensive version of their bargain light stroller range and, like the Ickle Bubba Aurora and Yoyo is car seat compatible so you can use it from the beginning (the carrycot folds away).
The new Pace features some stunning design elements, including rose-gold hues on the chassis, hood, and stroller trims that truly distinguish it from. The stroller and car seat fabrics are fashionable in grey, tan, and cream. You can also add the handle in leather and the bumper bar to complement.
It is suitable from birth up to a maximum weight of 22kg. The stroller seat easily converts from a carrycot to a 2-in-1 reversible mode, facing the parent or the world. The stroller seat comes with multiple lie-back positions, softly padded legs rests and an extendable sun canopy with hidden zip sections, a viewing see-through flap, and retractable visor.
When folded in half, the Pace measures up at 56 x 43 x 32cm which means it passes for hand luggage with Easyjet and Ryanair among other airlines. Two buttons on each side are easy to use and click to lock it in the right position.
Bugaboo Fox 5
The idea behind it is to create the ultimate all-terrain stroller, Bugaboo's newest Fox 5 promises to do it all. Its unique chassis comes with a shorter wheel width which makes it easier to maneuver than its predecessor. I put it to the test with my two children - one a toddler and another eight week old - over rocky pavements as well as woodland walks that are grassy and even cobblestones.
The large puncture-proof wheels, which measure either 22cm or a bit larger - can handle a variety of terrains. They also have a handy flap that opens or closes to allow more air in should you need it this is a nice touch. It's a bit bigger than some pushchairs, but it does not feel heavy or bulky when you push it over bumpy surfaces.
The seat fabric can be washed by machine, and the faux leather grips and frame are easy to clean. It's also quieter than other pushchairs, and I was comfortable with it on busy urban streets. It has integrated accessory points, so you can attach parasols and footmuffs and also changing bags as well as snack trays and even snack tray. You can also use the hood to block rain and wind, but it's not particularly waterproof. It's a single stroller, but you can attach their Comfort Wheeled Board (not included) to give your child more legroom. It took around 20 minutes to set up the bassinet, and a similar amount of time to convert it into the seat.

The Ridge's reversible seat allows you to decide if your child is facing the world in front of them or you, and its simple foot brake system is intuitive for parents with young children. The reversible handlebar on the back is a fantastic feature that allows you to adjust it to suit your height. The Ridge's fold, in contrast to many strollers for jogging, is sturdy and self-standing when folded.
